Airborne Amputees

It’s a rush. It’s a thrill. It’s an adrenaline junkie’s dream. It’s also PROOF that the sky is the limit after amputation! The Airborne Amputee skydive has become a symbol of independence and strength for the hundreds of amputees who have taken the leap. The event, now heading into its fourth year, has grown into a weekend-long event of music, food and fun.

Limbs of Love

Limbs of Love was founded in 2007 by a board of directors associated with the Amputee & Prosthetic Center of Houston. We are a registered 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization whose mission is to provide limbs to amputees in Texas and across the U.S. who have lost a limb but do not have the resources to pay for a prosthetic device. Very few charitable organizations have such a significant impact upon the lives of others.

Amputees in Action

We are not only an amputee support group, we are an amputee social club! Our goal is to provide a positive environment and support to fellow amputees (with or without prosthetic devices) with fun activities! We work in conjunction with nursing, physical therapy and health care professionals to provide amputee support to anyone who would like to participate. Amputees in Action believes no one should have to suffer through amputation lone and uninformed.
